The spelling and vocabulary words for week 9 is posted on the blog. If your child wants to get a head start on studying, this would be a great opportunity.
Report Cards go out on Friday
AR party is November 2nd. If you child did not make their AR goal for this first 9 weeks, they can get started on the 2nd 9 weeks this weekend. They have to read 8 chapter books to which 3 books must be chapter books that are worth 2 points or more. Out of the 8 they need to read a Mystery, Myth/Folktale , and a Humorous book. The other 5 books can be from what ever genre they like.
The students are doing an awesome job in collecting box tops, metal caps, and plastic bottles. Keep up the good work. I will have a special prize at the end of the month for the teams who place first in each category.
