1. Conservation- Efficient use of resources or using your resources wisely.
2. Fossil fuel- nonrenewable resources formed from ancient plants and animal
3. Natural Resources- resources found in nature: air, water, minerals, soil.
4. Nonrenewable resources: Resources such as fossil fuels, hard to replace
5. Renewable resources: resources such as wind, sun, rain are easily replaced,
6. Atmosphere” The gaseous mass or envelope surrounding the earth and retained by Earth’s gravitational field.
7. Alternative Energy Sources- Wind, solar, ore water power that can be used to produce.
8. Global Warming- The warning that occurs in the atmosphere that surrounds the Earth because of pollutions.
9. Hydroelectric- Electricity produced by moving water
10. Biomass- Organic matter, such as plants or garbage that can be used as a energy source.
11. Sustainable- able to supply our needs without harming future generation’s needs.
12. Natural Gas- A mixture of hydrocarbon gas that occurs with petroleum deposits which is methane
13. Geothermal- heat created from inside the earth
14. Thermal- using or producing heat
15. Coal- Natural dark brown/black soft rock used a fuel that was formed from fossilized plants that is burned in large paower plants to create electricity.
